This cycle, two of the biggest donors to BOLD America are Coinbase (the Crypto lobby) and International Bancshares Corporation, a bank that has given $625,000 this cycle to GOP Super PACs to help Republicans keep their Senate majority.

Crypto money is now trying to buy this election. This is the problem with money in politics. When powerful interests think a real grassroots campaign might win, they try to drown it out with outside spending & attacks. But they can’t outspend people power if we organize. (1/2)

Anyone paying attention to the growing alliance between billionaire money, crypto power, and pro-war political spending should be alarmed. AIPAC celebrated defeating another critic of Israel’s war. Crypto-backed interests spent heavily against Al Green. And more and more outside money is flooding races to punish dissent and enforce ideological loyalty. This is bigger than one election. That is a dangerous direction for democracy.

This could be an early, quick night for the crypto industry, which spent $6.5 million to take out Al Green.
