Downtowns should be places where residents, businesses, visitors, and nightlife thrive, but does Oakland's Broadway, the main street through downtown, accomplish that goal? What would you like to see changed make Broadway more welcoming? Here’s a thought experiment, a 🧵(1/21)

Upgrades on Broadway would help transit across the entire East Bay, as quicker bus trips allow for increases in service and better operator breaks. East Bay transit riders deserve world-class service, and that starts with Broadway. (20/21)
