After a string of misses on amateur big ticket international prospects, the White Sox might have hit big on recent signing Sebastian Romero. Just hit his 5th home run in his 8th DSL game, and currently has an OPS of 1.435.
They signed him for $1.5 million in January. It’s incredibly early, and many prospects fizzle out once they reach the states, but these are very encouraging early signs.
