This week A Level Physics students had the incredible experience of a virtual visit to @CERN's Large Hadron Collider. The live tour led Sixth Form pupils on an exploration of the ATLAS Particle Detector nearly 100m below the Franco-Swiss border! 🇫🇷🇨🇭 #GoFurther #RemoteLearning

After the Y9 quiz against Marlborough College last week, our Junior Academic Forum were keen to keep up the regular quizzes. Tonight’s top 5 contained 3 Y7! It also gave me a chance to try out ‘time to climb’. Thanks for teaching me how it works @LearningTrent @TrentCollege

Love all the tools on Microsoft Whiteboard, I’m going to keep on using it even after lockdown! Modelled how to calculate breathing rate with the ruler tool. No hands getting in the way of the student view and the line is drawn perfectly! @LearningTrent @TrentCollege

Remote learning has provided new avenues for Staff CPD. Our teaching and learning seminar group are currently exploring Rosenshine’s principles using @teacherhead videos and the excellent workbook by @clairegrimes. Following our reflections yesterday, we shared our Cornell notes.
