Remote learning has provided new avenues for Staff CPD. Our teaching and learning seminar group are currently exploring Rosenshine’s principles using @teacherhead videos and the excellent workbook by @clairegrimes. Following our reflections yesterday, we shared our Cornell notes.

Mrs Applegate was impressed by her Y10 Latin class in a collaboration & live feedback activity. In Collaboration Space pupils each worked on a sentence (black font) other pupils then searched for errors before highlighting & guiding discussion to elicit the correct version (pink)

In Maths Y7 have been solving the case of a theft! They have substituted known facts about each suspect into formulae & solved equations to eliminate the innocent suspects. Dr Hansard said 'Well done Y7, this demonstrated complex rearrangement of formulae'. Keep up the great work
