Pour mesurer à quel point l’Etat colonial d’Israël a durablement et profondément détruit la société Palestine à Gaza il faut se replonger dans les archives du photographe Kegham Djeghalian (1915 - 1981) rescapé du génocide arménien, il a des décennies durant documenté la ville de Gaza et ses habitants. Son petit-fils reprend son travail d’archive et écrit ceci : “ Au cœur de ce projet se trouve une réflexion critique sur l'urgence de préserver les mémoires visuelles fragiles de Gaza, marquées par la tension entre souvenir et oubli. Comment les histoires subjectives peuvent-elles contribuer à une archéologie future d'une géographie effacée ? Quelles stratégies adopter pour sauvegarder l'existence et la mémoire de Gaza face au génocide ?” Expo à retrouver jusqu’au 9 février à Genève dans le cadre du festival Black Movie.
