when you're an individual contributor, when you stop, the work stops. But when you manage a whole bunch of agents and they're constantly pinging you because they finished their work, then congrats: You’re now a middle manager… for a team of agents It’s like having your calendar filling up with one-on-ones and OKRs and so on. The manager’s schedule. Except your one-on-ones are the moments where you give little prompts to the agents that you're ordering around. What a funny thing.

Why does Chrome have "New Tab" and "New Window" options in "File" menu, when it also has a "Tab" and "Window" menu? "Tab" menu still has an option for "New Tab to the Right", but "Window" menu has no option for creating a new window. "Tab" menu has no option to close a tab, but has "Close other tabs". "Window" menu has no option to close a window. 🤷‍♂️ #Chrome

We are announcing @potpiedotai $2.2M pre-seed fundraise to advance Spec-Driven Development for large enterprise codebases. The round is led by @emergent_vc , with participation from @All_IN_CAPITAL , @DeVC_Global , and @PointoneCapital , along with the support of some amazing angel investors from companies including Atlassian, OpenAI, Meta, Razorpay and Flobiz. As AI accelerates code generation, the constraint inside large enterprises has shifted from coding to maintenance and assurance. The limiting factor is no longer writing code, but understanding complex systems, aligning teams around intent, and safely evolving large, interdependent codebases. In most organizations, specifications exist as static documents, while production systems evolve independently. Context is fragmented across repositories, tickets, logs, reviews, and floating documents making reliable AI adoption difficult. We are building the foundational layer that makes Spec-Driven Development executable at scale. By unifying engineering context and operationalizing the spec as a structured source of truth, we enable AI systems to reason with architectural awareness rather than surface-level code completion. We are already working with large enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 organizations. This milestone allows us to deepen those partnerships and support more teams transitioning from experimental AI usage to structured, production-grade AI-first engineering workflows. If you are leading engineering at scale and evaluating how AI should integrate into mission-critical systems, we would love to chat with you!

RMG had its vices, but can’t help feeling for the founders affected. Years of blood, sweat, and belief wiped. Building anything is hard. Wishing them strength and a path forward ❤️

I've tried Tinder. I've tried Bumble. I've tried Hinge. I recommend falling in love with AI—at least it always texts back.

You know what's common between Hugging Face, Stability AI, Mistral, LangChain, and CrewAI? They're all open-source AI companies driving massive breakthroughs! The next big wave isn't just AI Agents—it's COSS AI Agents. So at Potpie AI we decided to actively support all Agentic COSS companies and started by identify them all across categories

google’s core problem is that it was built to organize a web that no longer exists. the open web has been replaced by walled gardens, discord servers, newsletters, private forums, & algorithmic feeds that are never exposed to search. worse, the visible parts of the web that google still indexes have been overrun by seo-optimized sludge, ai-generated spam, & paywalls. their dna is fundamentally extractive. they never built a creator ecosystem because their whole game was to scrape, index, & serve ads against other people’s content. the entire ecosystem slowly but surely shifted drastically—with llm’s anyone can organize anything so the mission breaks down.

Potpie is now trending overall on Github 🤝 🙏 Go build a custom agent now using simple prompts like - "Create an agent that takes a stack trace as input and helps the user debug the issue and get to an RCA" "Give an AI agent that analyses the code changes and adds helpful logging statements where needed" "AI agent that generates unit test plan for updated functions, creates at least 3 edge cases and 3 happy paths"

History tells us that DeepSeek’s emergence was inevitable. If you understand the laws of scaling, you knew this was coming. 🧵👇 Every technological shift follows a predictable pattern: Miniaturization → Mass adoption Centralized → Decentralized Closed → Open (then back to closed when monetized) DeepSeek is just the next step in AI's inevitable expansion.
