The response from the Nigerian Embassy in the UK has been disappointing @Nigerialondon @abikedabiri @nidcom_gov @BTOofficial @NigeriaMFA At a time like this, we expect urgent action and compassion. The embassy should, as a matter of urgency: (1) Reach out directly to the affected family to offer support and reassurance. (2) Provide free passports for the husband, wife, and their three children on humanitarian grounds. The Nigerian Embassy must do more to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Nigerians living in the UK. Moments like this call for leadership, empathy, and responsibility. That said, we sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed to the GoFundMe and supported the family with donations, clothing, and gifts.
