Just another week in weight management. @BCBSIL pulling coverage for Saxenda from my patient because in 4 months she didn’t lose >4% of excess weight. AOM’s are also used for weight maintenance friends. Will they pull statin coverage if LDL rises too? 🙄 #prevention #MedTwitter

A new low: an insurance company denying a treatment because the patient hasn't had the scan that would qualify them for said treatment
