We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves. Buddha

Western Rails:  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Schwab, WooCommerce. These possess moats that are genuinely extraordinary — network effects compounding over six decades, regulatory relationships spanning 200 jurisdictions, fraud infrastructure no challenger has replicated at scale. But they now carry a geopolitical premium. Every merchant outside the Western bloc that accepts Visa implicitly accepts American oversight of that transaction. That premium is rising. Eastern Bloc Infrastructure:  UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay. UnionPay now issues more cards globally than Visa by volume, though transaction value and merchant acceptance outside Asia remain lower. These are not toys. They are increasingly capable parallel systems, and their growth is explicitly a strategic project, not merely a commercial one. - Chic10.com - @MWTYLER - @EconomicsOnX

At its best, social media is a tour of the imagination of others.

The philosopher in Mexico who writes freely doesn't owe anyone a fight. They don't owe anyone a revolution. They don't owe anyone a bridge. What they have done is see clearly and speak honestly. That is a complete act. It doesn't need to be supplemented with activism, solidarity, or self-flagellation about privilege. The fact that a single person can step outside the mythology, refuse to play by its rules, and share that refusal with others for free—that is already a crack in the machine. It doesn't need to be anything more.

One could make the case that Lindsey Graham and Netanyahu are just pathetic tools of the arms industry who put profit above human life.
Replying to @LindseyGrahamSC
Had Lindsey Graham taken some classical education classes, he would have spoken with greater wisdom. Lindsey Graham is confusing a diplomatic photo-op with the end of a historical conflict. Saudi recognition of Israel would be significant, but pretending it would effectively end the Arab-Israeli conflict is pure Lindsey fantasy that even Trump doesn't believe. The Palestinian question still exists just like a flattened Gaza and the West Bank. Refugees, borders, sovereignty, security, and occupation still exist. By Graham’s logic, Trump could also end the Middle East conflict by getting Netanyahu to accept a real two-state solution and Palestinian independence. That would make it far easier for Arab states to recognize Israel, because it would address the wound at the center of the conflict instead of dressing it up for a headline.
