Gotta love it. Rusty and Kari Branch - parents of Kolby Branch - take a “victory lap” by running the bases at Foley Field after Georgia advanced to the College World Series.

“What did you tell the folks who said Georgia baseball couldn’t beat Mississippi State 6 times in one season to make it to Omaha?” Me:

I can’t tell you how much fun these last two days have been. Georgia has quite a team and DawgNation is about to paint Omaha red and black.

Celebratory pour for the Dawgs heading back to Omaha…everyone saying it’s been so long is a reminder of my age, I was at UGA when they went last…looking forward to a return visit. HBTFD!
College baseball is better than MLB. The fans. The passion. The excitement. Kudzu freaking Hill.

Multiple rounds of rainfall throughout May have led to significant improvement in the drought across the state. Areas covered by Exceptional (D4) and Extreme (D3) drought conditions have significantly shrunk across Georgia compared to the beginning of May. #gawx

After a quick course inspection this am, I headed over to our neighbors at East Lake for a walkabout with Charles, Jeff, & Terrance learning about reno details & the operation of EL, making it a goal to get on other properties to talk turf & make myself a better turf manager.

Well after nearly 5” of rain from Thursday to Thursday we were able to mow out the shortgrass the last 2 days along with making a couple app’s to grns & tees, unfortunately Mother Nature brought the rain back this evening…1” so far bringing month total to almost 7”

Happy Maintenance Tuesday everyone! Today I arrived at the #golfcourse at 4 AM to solid tine the greens while the topdresser, roller, and cup cutter followed behind starting at 6 AM. In today’s video I wanted to give y’all a closer look at the Toro ProCore 648. I’d say this is probably one of my favorite machines to operate. Not only is it easy to handle, but solid tining plays a huge role in helping the greens absorb more water, oxygen, and nutrients while relieving compaction. At the end of the day, healthier greens make my job maintaining them a little easier. #greenkeeper #golfmaintenance #johndeere #toro

As we set today aside to honor and thank our Veterans, let us be mindful that we should do this every day of the year and not just one. Thankful for all who took the oath to protect this country. Blessed indeed!!! #MemorialDay
