I lived 20 years in Ottawa and 15 in Calgary. My lived experience is that only one of those cities had an excessive number of Ferraris and massive annual bonuses and excessive Christmas parties and a general culture of lavish oil-funded materialism. It wasn't Ottawa.

Perhaps the only way Schneider & Hoffman clue in is if the fans boo him off the field every time Schneider puts him in. Itโs not ideal or polite but it has the potential of being effective.
