Bobby Witt Jr.'s OPS is in the .700s. Even Nick Kurtz is over 100 points behind Alvarez in OPS. Alvarez is legitimately chasing a Triple Crown. How anyone could argue he's not the AL MVP favorite is beyond me.

If we're doing the sell off that I want, then contending in 2027 is rather unlikely.
This could get me in trouble, but I'd trade anyone that's not under control past 2027 and has value. That means Peña, Paredes, Meyers, Walker, Okert, and De Los Santos.

Real talk, I don't want Houston to fight back into a playoff spot.
We need to be revitalizing the farm and preparing to contend in 2028 and onward, not giving up what little MiLB capital we have left just to get eliminated in the first round.
