Proctor is being slept on

Sacks are important and the "goal" of each play, but to use them as a proxy for how well a defender rushed the passer in totality leads to big issues because you're judging a player based on like ~3-5% of their plays. Things like win rate and pressure are a stronger indicator and more stable from year to year, which has been proven over and over. In fact, win rate and pressure rate predict future sack totals better than the previous year's sack total. pff.com/news/nfl-true-pass-r… Obviously, film is still king! So in essence, stop quoting sack totals to me when trying to prove/disprove your/my takes on a particular pass-rusher or rushing the passer in general. And with that, I declare victory (so sorry).

This is crazy. Crosby best play was from 2021-2023. I'm not sure he's even worth one 1st right now. He's approaching that cliff where edge players elite play falls off.
