In 2020 ODSP paid est $2,000,000 to hiring a modest sized Add-on team of fraud detectors to their already fully staffed system which includes fraud detectors and the medical review team.
Out of 50,000 cases reviewed that year, they only found actual criminal fraud in 26.

Liberals when they see means tested benefits going to those that used to get more via the carbon tax rebate, had that removed, now get this tiny amount.
They're paying less 'in taxes' for this benefit... and never advocate to have the Canada Disability Benefit fixed.

I don't receive the grocery rebate, yet I'm seeing endless complaints from people who do. It was never intended to cover your grocery bill for years to come, just to help.

Earlier today we were provided a copy of the suicide note left by someone who had spent a lifetime struggling with mental health & physical disabilities.
We will not be sharing it.

And? I looked into it. The UN has not called out on any country that has assisted dying. Just Canada. Now why would they do that? Oh, maybe bc it violates disabled ppls rights.
Keep in mind, of the 18 experts on the UN Committee, only 4 of them were from countries where any form of assisted dying is legal. Their report does not reflect the support of MAiD Track 2 in Canada. Support from the disabled population is about as strong as the general population
That said, Canada can always improve their support of vulnerable groups

Doc spoke out defending MAID, got tons of responses from vulnerable disabled people about their legitimate issues that have been confirmed by the UN, IGNORED THEM, and doubled down.
If that's not Canadian healthcare in a nutshell I don't know what is.

-Vast majority - 95.6% Track 1: i.e., foreseeable death
-Track 1: median age 78 years
-Cancer was the #1 reason in Track 1
