This government U-turn is welcomed. However, it will be interesting to see how this affects students that missed their offers for Medicine due to being downgraded.

We welcome the government’s decision that A-level results will be determined by teacher-predicted grades, and are delighted to accept all students who meet the terms of their original offer on all programmes that do not have an externally-determined cap. ucl.ac.uk/news/2020/aug/ucl-…
