#Defenders (6-5) and #Kings (7-4) to face off in 2026 United Bowl in DC after winning their respective playoff games today. DC, despite missing quarterback Jordan Ta'amu, defeated Orlando 28-22 with 405 offensive yards on 71 plays - compared to 273 yards on 43 plays from the #Storm. Louisville overcame a rowdy St. Louis home crowd to win 29-20 and advance. Chris Redman's squad hasn't lost a game since Apr. 30 - ironically enough, against the #Battlehawks.

NEWS: The United Football League is moving the Orlando Storm's playoff matchup against the DC Defenders to Daytona Stadium, per league source. While Columbus was announced over the weekend by the #UFL as a neutral site, they have now secured a Florida venue. Kickoff at 3pm ET.

The St. Louis #Battlehawks are bringing back OG Abdul Beecham, per source. The veteran was one of the top guards in the #UFL last season prior to injury. He was surprisingly let go by Dallas in camp this March. Key late-season addition up front for The Lou.

#Kings signed offensive tackle Juwann Bushell-Beatty, per the wire. Since 2019, Bushell-Beatty has since bounced around NFL camps, the XFL/USFL, CFL, and UFL. He was a 3-year starter with St. Louis (2023-25) and most recently spent time with Columbus during training camp earlier this year.

ICYMI: #Gamblers signed quarterback John Rhys Plumlee, per the wire. Plumlee was a 2-year starter at UCF (2022-23). He went undrafted in the 2024 #NFL Draft and has since bounced around different training camp rosters and/or practice squads.
