I know how committed @WHO is to supporting the #Ebola outbreak response in #DRC. Seeing first-hand how @UNOPS work changes lives and delivers tangible impact for the communities we serve is the most rewarding part of my job. Here in Tegucigalpa #Honduras, I visited Hospital Escuela, one of the main public hospitals. UNOPS is helping to improve primary and emergency healthcare services, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Our work includes enhancing key infrastructure at the facility, and procuring equipment, with a strong focus on sustainability. Inspiring to meet partners and our UNOPS team to learn how such initiatives bring at scale healthcare to patients.

Excellent exchange with President Nasry Asfura on the strong partnership between @UNOPS and #Honduras. This is delivering tangible results for people across the country. We spoke of our impactful collaboration on health, enhancing the provision of quality healthcare services and improving vital medical infrastructure. From conflict to recovery in Iraq. In Anbar & Nineveh Governorates, we’re helping residents return to safe, dignified homes and access clean water.
