Yesterday, #USACE San Francisco Commander LTC Virginia Brickner hosted Code Brew, a monthly event that connects staff over coffee and conversation. It was also a chance to unveil the district’s new 160th commemorative coin, designed by SPN Public Affairs Specialist Karina Kirsch.

At a ceremony at the Bay Model Visitor Center, Lt. Col. Kevin Arnett relinquished command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers San Francisco District June 23 when Lt. Col. Timothy Shebesta was sworn in as the district’s 58th commander.

Lt. Col. Kevin Arnett was invited by the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association to be the Grand Marshall for the blessing of the fleet and the "Broadway on the Bay" boat parade April 30. He invested his time in talking with, and enjoying the company of, the vast boating community.

San Francisco District's Lake Sonoma is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Milt Brandt Visitor Center to the public today. Hours of operation will be Friday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Don Clausen Fish Hatchery and viewing bridge will remain closed until further notice.
