On July 23, 1885, former United States president, and Civil War general, Ulysses S. Grant passed away while fighting throat cancer at a secluded cottage in Mount McGregor, NY.

We had the pleasure to receive a visit from Howard Lee Martin of Ohio. Howard served as a First Class Seaman in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. We thank him for his amazing service to our country!
