Interesting, I always wanted to be a veterinarian; loved and protected the voiceless ones all of my life. Problem is - I can't bear to see anyone in pain or hurt. So had to rule that out and no demand for a "Well Fur Baby Clinic". I became a businesswoman for a Fortune 100 corporation instead and dedicated my spare time (and money) to animal protection and fighting against cosmetic companies, the NIH and anyone else that was testing on live animals - most of them redundant. Fought against antivivisection - we made terrific inroads but still more to be done. Protested on Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills) at the furriers - went in to try on their fur coats and placed cards inside the pockets so women would know who the original owner of the coat really was and just how they took it from them. Worked with Bob Barker -- who always hosted our events and had the support of an amazing amount of 'celebrities' who were with us. God doesn't make mistakes - he leads us to where our talent/skill set is best suited. Thank you, God led me here - plucked me right out of my rose gardens!! I don't think He's finished with me yet! Wednesday's reflection..... As a staunch advocate for all things conservative, I've often taken my gift of " talking the talk" for granted. Walking the walk, separates the men from the boys, no? This mindset elevates one's own advocacy, bringing it to a whole other level; God in motion‼️My passionate philanthropic work brings me great joy, while benefitting children & families in BLUE STATE, VT.
