Iโ€™m excited to announce that my first novel, The Awakening, is now available on Amazon Kindle. The Awakening is the first installment in The Awakening Protocols seriesโ€”a supernatural thriller that blends military fiction, law enforcement experience, ancient mysteries, and humanityโ€™s fight for survival against an ancient threat. The eBook is available now, with paperback and hardcover editions coming soon. Also on the horizon is my second release, NEDMAC: This Place Ainโ€™t Real, a fictionalized police memoir inspired by real experiences, events, and the people who shaped them. Writing these books has been a challenging and rewarding journey, and Iโ€™m grateful to everyone who encouraged and supported me along the way. Thank you for your support. Excellent, absolutely brilliant. What a fantastic perspective
This article was written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve..๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

A surgeon at Winnipegโ€™s Health Sciences Centre removed dead tissue from her knee, then sent her to Concordia Hospital with the plan to bring her back that same day so a specialist could stitch the wound (CBC News). She was never brought back. There was no bed at HSC. So she sat at Concordia with an ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ž๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ, waiting for the system to make room. The doctors told her the leg couldnโ€™t be salvaged. On a Friday in December, Roseanne Milburn lost her ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ž๐  โ€” over a missing hospital bed. This is not a freak accident. It is the predictable output of a system that rations care by making people wait. In 2025, the median Canadian waited ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ” ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค๐ฌ from a GP referral to actual treatment (Fraser Institute). For orthopedic surgery โ€” the exact category Milburn needed โ€” the median wait is ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ” ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค๐ฌ. Nearly a full year. By design. That is 222 percent longer than the 9.3-week wait Canadians faced in 1993 (Fraser Institute). The system isnโ€™t getting better. Itโ€™s getting slower โ€” and the waiting list itself becomes the rationing mechanism. Defenders call it โ€œ๐˜ง๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆโ€. It is not free. Roseanne Milburn paid for it. She paid with her leg. Every politician selling โ€œ๐˜”๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜ˆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญโ€ is selling this โ€” the bed that never opens, the specialist who never comes, the wound that turns black while a bureaucrat shuffles a list.

A Jacksonville Marine Corps hero is one step away from receiving the nationโ€™s highest military honor. Legislation authorizing retired Marine Major James Capers Jr. to receive the Medal of Honor has now passed Congress and been signed into law by President Donald Trump. The president signed the legislation back in March, and a White House ceremony bestowing the honor is set for June 18th. Capers, an 88-year-old Vietnam veteran, is credited with saving the lives of the Marines under his command during a brutal 1967 battle at Phu Loc, despite suffering multiple gunshot wounds himself. In 2010, Major James Capers Jr. was one of only 14 members inducted into the inaugural class of U.S. Special Operations Command's Commando Hall of Honor at a ceremony in front of USSOCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base. Major Capers Jr. is recognized as a pioneer in Recon training tactics which are still used by Special Operations forces around the world. He and the surviving members of Team Broadminded meet annually to celebrate and honor those who have passed. Capers currently resides in North Caroline and continues to be part of the special operations community.

In 1956, Harvey Keitel joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. He completed boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, an experience he later described as both grueling and transformative. During training at night combat school, Keitel once shared that he was afraid of the dark. An instructor told him: โ€œEveryone is afraid of the dark. It is the fear of the unknown.โ€ Keitel never forgot this lesson. โ€œWhat is the darkness? How do I learn to live with it?โ€ he later reflected. โ€œI heard that when I was 17 years old and I never forgot that he said it.โ€ As a Marine, Keitel served as a fire team leader and was deployed to Lebanon during the 1958 Lebanon Crisis as part of Operation Blue Bat, a peacekeeping mission. Keitel has often spoken about the deeper impact of his time in the military. โ€œFor me, the Marine Corps was a spiritual journey,โ€ he once said. โ€œItโ€™s not about war. It was a personal transformation.โ€ After three years of service, he was honorably discharged in 1959, returning home with a sense of discipline, resilience and quiet confidence that would guide his life and career.

Remember when Biden let trans people flash genitalia in front of kids on the White House lawn and a staffer filmed anal sex in a Senate hearing room? Me too. But a UFC event and ballroom are now 'off limits'? Democrats literally ride the short bus of life.
