Spotted an interesting carousel gallery control. The active slide is represented by a dash, making the group look a little like morse code as it scrolls through. Nicely animated. #productdesign

“Digital products…fail because they have not [been imbued] with sufficient humanity.” —About Face. Know your users and make human-centered products. #ux #productdesign
It’s obvious. #ux #productdesign
The beauty of design in nature astounds me
Sometimes product design is crafting an email or Slack message that your app needs to send out. The timing of that message. The wording. Don’t relegate yourself to creating great experiences only in Figma. Craft holistically. #productdesign #uxdesign

Like Jony Ive, I want to come at product design with a “sincere, genuine appetite to do something that is better.” Let’s go make some great products today! #ux #uxdesign #productdesign
Did an experiment with my 9 year old and asked her what these icons meant. So interesting how much meaning in icons is learned and influenced socially/culturally.
We as product designers are creating magic. What happens behind the curtain should not dictate what the people using our product experience. Have some fun today and make some magic! #uxdesign #productdesign #ux
Interesting to see @InVisionApp pivoting to a new product. I admire the way they are going all in on this.
Good example of an accelerator for power users. Slack lets you double click the plus icon to immediately go to an upload dialog. Tooltip makes it a learnable feature, while not cluttering the interface with instructions. #ux #ui #productdesign
Teaching a child to use a computer is a great way to get a glimpse into beginners mind. Many of the computing terms we use are so weird if you don’t already know them: application, Finder, window.
Giohy capture does a great job of using a single element for multiple purposes. Save button, progress bar, and success message. #productdesign #ux #uxdesign
Wireframe in black and white or greyscale until your product/feature is viable, then add color and style to emphasize the solid foundation you’ve laid down. #productdesign #ux #ui
Designing an obvious user interaction that is not clunky but which is elegant and intuitive while being obvious is where the magic happens. Keep up the good work. #ux #uxdesign #productdesign
Geek out with me on a UX definition — procedural memory: A type of long-term memory where past experiences inform actions related to process execution without any conscious awareness. Like muscle memory for your mind. In fact, muscle memory is a type of procedural memory. #ux
Get the basics right. My form is fully filled out and I am ready to submit it (actually an ok verb for the button in this case). What do you want me to do here? Looks like you want me to cancel! #ux #uxdesign #productdesign
