ALT Attend an autism orientation day! We are hosting two autism orientation days for students with autism to familiarise themselves with our university and its services before term begins. Location: Canterbury Campus. ALT Set up your support. 1. Register with Student Support & Wellbeing. 2. Show evidence to confirm your diagnosis (a clinical report or doctor's letter). 3. Make an appointment to meet a Disability Adviser. Canterbury students: Email KentSSW@kent.ac.uk. Medway students: Email MedwaySSW@kent.ac.uk. Your disability adviser can create an Inclusive Learning Plan, help you apply for disabled student's allowance etc.
ALT Consider social support groups. Kent Autistics Group (UoKA) is a student-led group who meet for two hours ever week. Email soyoureautistic@outlook.com for more information about the group.
