The Boone County Fiscal Court is holding a regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23rd, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Fiscal Court Room at 2950 Washington Street, Burlington. The meeting can be livestreamed here.
Tomorrow’s agenda includes a number of routine resolutions regarding fiscal matters, a bid award, and hirings/promotions. The full agenda can be found on the county website, but here are some notable items being considered:
Second reading of an ordinance approving a zoning map amendment request by Newman Tractor for a special sign district. This would be to allow for a 95’ tall sign just off the Walton-Verona exit off Hwy 71.
First reading of an ordinance denying a zoning map amendment request by “Jakes Farm” off of Richwood to put in apartment buildings and single-family homes on the 35 acres across from Hicks Pike, connected through the Sutherland subdivision. This is a First Reading of an ordinance denying this application, and public comment is allowed and appreciated. If you have any thoughts or input on this matter, feel free to attend and express your opinion.
First reading of an ordinance adopting a statement of goals and objectives for the 2045 Comprehensive Land Use plan. I still have feedback on these goals and objectives and will be pushing to delay a first reading till next Court meeting.
A resolution renewing an agreement with Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers.
The full agenda can be found here. Hopefully you can make the meeting. If not, feel free to use the livestream on the county website.
