I met a quadriplegic in vrchat. vrchat gave them freedom to move around and hang out I met a 75 year old Vietnam Vet who loved go gogo dance in full body tracking. He told me before this his life was just sitting and watching TV, and since he found VRchat, his health, both physical and mental has gotten better. (I'm super passionate about vr for seniors). I met my wife in vrchat. We both lived a few hours from each other and we grew closer in VR and finally met up and spent our time in VR and every other week saw each other on the weekends IRL. I have friends who are scared to death of going outside, and or socialize with people, but in VR it lets them have that buffer.

I just really want people to understand that user count alone, doesn't pay the bills. Spending a grand a year on Booth/Gumroad assets, none of that keeps the servers running. A lot of people act like using VRC means it owes them something, rather than the other way around.

I had to double take. Thought this was super imposed onto a real music gig for a moment, before I realised that's Fin's "Complex 7" world, and I've stood in that same spot.

I know VRChat has got a lot of much more important things to work on, but I've always said that this trick could be super cool for desktop users. Would suit VRC perfectly, and be such a mindblow for new users if it just worked without needing any hardware spare the webcam.
