Running for office is hard and I’m grateful to everyone who is willing to run in any capacity. Utah is a special place and I admire the passion of every candidate and voter who works to make it better. Thank you to Representative King and Representative Lyman for your willingness to run. We agree. #RCV is a necessary addition to open primaries. It makes sure the winner has popular support.

This👇is an example of the problems associated with a Top 2 Open Primary system. Whether the primary is open or closed there is still the problem of vote splitting and a non-majority winner advancing to the Top 2 general election. #RankedChoiceVoting (RCV) solves this.
