No de-escalation. Nothing. The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage. Like it never happened. If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel? Jameson deserved better. That little boy deserved better. His mama deserved better.

🚨Trump-pardoned January 6th insurrectionist Jake Lang is back behind bars — this time on a felony terrorism charge. Lang, a neo-N*zi activist, was arrested in Dallas on Tuesday night for making terroristic threats, with bail set at $1 million.  He had traveled to Texas to stir up racial tensions surrounding the murder trial of Karmelo Anthony, a Black teenager sentenced to 35 years for fatally stabbing a white teenager at a track meet.  Lang is charged with making a terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury, interrupting public services, or attempting to influence government operations.  In his own words, he threatened that “if the jury did not find Karmelo Anthony guilty, that we the people will deal with justice”  — an explicit call for extrajudicial mob violence. This isn’t Lang’s only recent scandal. In March, Lang was caught in a predator-sting operation, texting flirtatiously with what he believed to be a 15-year-old girl. When told the decoy was 15, Lang responded: “When do you turn 16?”  He also “hearted” a message from the decoy saying she could “keep it a secret.”  No criminal charges stemming from that incident have been filed. Before receiving Trump’s pardon, Lang spent approximately four years in federal custody after being convicted on an 11-count indictment that included assaulting law enforcement officers with a baseball bat during the Capitol breach.  Trump handed this man a pardon. Now he’s in a Texas jail on felony terrorism charges, having openly threatened mob violence against a Black teenager’s family. Trump is responsible for unleashing this thug on America’s streets. The Party of “law and order” strikes again!

This government is complicit in the abuse and the ongoing obstruction of justice. The people in the Situation Room need to be focused on the unlawful and unconstitutional war this President has dragged us into — not damage control for pedophiles. The survivors deserve justice. The American people deserve answers. And we will not stop fighting until we get them.

🚨BREAKING: Someone dragged a cross into downtown Chicago… and lit it on fire in Grant Park. And since some people seem determined to rewrite American history, here’s a reminder of what that means. The KKK burned crosses for a reason… it was racial terrorism. It was meant to threaten, intimidate, and terrorize Black communities, and anyone else they viewed as “less than,” into submission. And we’ve spent years watching that same racism get a makeover. We’ve watched politicians tell Americans to fear their neighbors. We’ve watched masked agents terrorize communities while people cheer it on. We’ve watched police brutality get a free pass, as long as the victim is someone society has decided “deserves it”. When politicians spend years telling Americans that certain groups are “invading” our country, don’t belong here, or are violent criminals… The hate and racism doesn’t stay contained. You can’t use fear, dehumanization, and hatred as political tools, and then not expect people to feel comfortable taking that hatred into a public park, with a torch. History has shown us, over and over, that when racism and political violence are tolerated, the target list doesn’t get shorter. So, it’s on us to shut it down before history repeats itself.
