The parents will scream about masks, but never say about word about 'active shooter drills.' These same parents will scream about sex ed, but not bullets flying in a schoolyard. The same parents will throw a hissy fit about a book, but not an AR-15.

As a teacher I’ve had trainings on how to pack a gun shot wound like a combat medic. I know exactly how many seconds it takes to barricade my classroom door once you hear gun shots, because I’ve been trained in that too. I’m so furious. Kids and teachers should be safe in schools
