On Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we remember Cmdr. Samuel Earle Johnson, MD’1911, who served as senior medical officer on the USS Arizona and was killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. His portrait is part of the History of Medicine Collection at Eskind Biomedical Library.

The Vanderbilt Hustler was established in 1888, but it wasn't until 1890 that the university granted permission for it to operate. Initially managed by the student athletic association in 1891, The Hustler is now part of Vanderbilt Student Communications. #VU150 #VandyGram
