Someone clearly didn’t understand Chiles if you think SCOTUS has a coalition to strike down all conversion therapy bans.
Similarly, the Supreme Court is about to strike down bans on conversion therapy. This is a no brainer. Don't include a controversial provision that is going to be held unconstitutional.

this is the ostensible "moderate voice" of our party, supporting a good cause but by means of a bill that contains terrible provisions and connected to really bad political rhetoric.

After attending today’s convention, I am still convinced that the convention model is deeply inaccessible and should be either heavily amended or replaced outright. Lots of people today were talking about how they needed to go home for their children, pets, or other dependents

Especially when the endorsement we give isn’t definitive. Witt will still be on the ballot without our endorsement. Frazier won the endorsement, but will still face at least 1 challenger come August. When nobody has to actually abide by the endorsement, it is meaningless

My final thought is that the DFL should have a genuine honest conversation about what is the best system moving forward. Not a conversation rooted in petty factionalism, but a genuine conversation

Seems that it was very unpopular for the Hennepin County Sherriff's office to work with an occupying force terrorizing Minnesotans and the fallout of that decision was felt today when Sherriff Witt failed to get the DFL endorsement & ultimately withdrew despite running unopposed.

Sheriff Witt fails again. Getting further away from 60% threshold required for DFL endorsement. Witt fell back to 57% on the 5th ballot. 6th ballot coming up.
