Conducted a detailed review with our Home Care and Palliative Care teams to understand ongoing treatments, patient progress and the gaps we need to address going forward. What stood out is the real impact of care delivered at home—not just for patients, but for their families as well. Today, our Home Care initiative supports nearly 800 patients through dedicated nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists and healthcare professionals. As we expand this service across Goa, Home Care will become one of the strongest pillars of our healthcare model—ensuring that quality care reaches people where they need it most at home.

Many serious health conditions, especially those related to the heart, often develop silently and show symptoms only when significant damage has already occurred. Through regular screenings, timely check-ups, and greater awareness, we can detect risks early, intervene sooner, and help people lead healthier lives. Our vision is to make our healthcare system accessible, affordable, and focused on prevention rather than cure alone. We urge every citizen to make preventive health check-ups a priority. Today, we conducted detailed review meeting with the team of 108 Emergency Services to assess service delivery, response times, operational efficiency, and quality standards. Among the key decisions taken was to evaluate the establishment of a dedicated 24x7 Command Centre to enable real-time monitoring of ambulance services, improve turnaround times, reduce service gaps, strengthen accountability, and ensure the highest standards of emergency response across the state. Our goal is that emergency assistance, help must arrive swiftly, seamlessly, and without delay. Every improvement we make is ultimately aimed at saving lives and delivering better healthcare outcomes for the people of Goa.

Through regular inspections, continuous monitoring and strict enforcement of food safety standards, our FDA team is working tirelessly to ensure that food served across Goa meets the highest standards of hygiene and quality. We appreciate the dedication of our officers who are on the ground every day safeguarding public health. Our focus is not on penalising businesses, but on building a culture of compliance, responsibility and food safety.
