A historic win for women—and for science! Today, AUA joined HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary, and national leaders at a packed press conference announcing the removal of broad black box warnings from hormone replacement therapy (HRT) products. The removal of broad black box warnings from HRT products is more than a regulatory update—it’s a restoration of trust in evidence-based care. For over two decades, millions of women were denied access to safe, effective treatment due to outdated warnings rooted in flawed science.  AUA has long advocated for change, and today we stood alongside national leaders as that change became reality. This decision will help women reduce their risk of heart disease, cognitive decline, and fractures, while reclaiming quality of life during menopause. We’re proud to have helped drive this moment forward! #AUAadvocacy
