1/4 With this leadership, i can't see a path forward.u wld expect a presidential advisor to advise the President to take major reforms such as CAB3 to a referendum, campaign vigorously for public support, win the mandate& then govern with legitimacy, not the other way around.
Because you have shown the right attitude, I hope you are going to de-escalate the attacks on the President and everyone else. You’ve demonstrated a right mental attitude and a real commitment to this country and President E.D. Mnangagwa. As a first condition for our upcoming roundtable meeting, I want you to come and collect your Toyota 300 series. Let me know when you are in Harare so we can arrange for you to pick up your car See you!

3/4 Next door, in SA, govt pays unemployed citizens R350/month and is investing 500m to help people start businesses and create jobs. Meanwhile, we are busy distributing cars like confetti while unemployment, poverty, and the lack of economic opportunity remain unresolved

4/4 A car is not a business, a car is not an income, and a car does not create jobs. Real empowerment is giving people the tools and capital to build sustainable livelihoods, not handing out liabilities disguised as development.

1/4 As a graduate with PR, I can tell that finding a job in SA is not easy, even with PR status.Employers have become extremely cautious. I was even refused a basic bank account because I didn't have an SA ID, despite holding PR certificate not by one bank but 4. Imagine a job?
I fully agree with former President Thabo Mbeki that the problem of high levels of unemployment cannot be solely attributed to undocumented (illegal) immigrants; fortunately, there is no one who has made such a claim. That is not even a claim made by the leaders of the protest actions, if we closely and carefully listen to them. What they are claiming is that uncontrolled and illegal migration makes it difficult for South African job seekers. This claim is factually correct. I respectfully disagree with the former President that illegal migration has nothing to do with unemployment. It is a fact that undocumented immgrants are a source of cheap and unprotected labour, what is called unregulated employment. It is also a fact, that this source of employment directly results in labour market distortions and displacement of South African job seekers. It is also a fact that the most affected job seekers by the labour market displacement are the low-skilled and unskilled workers. Unemployed population in South Africa consists of a mix of skills; which can be broken down into three main categories. The first is HIGHLY SKILLED & GRADUATES UNEMPLOYMENT, this is unemployed graduates who struggle to find entry-level positions that require prior experience. The second is SEMI-SKILLED UNEMPLOYMENT, these are job seekers that have completed secondary education (matric) or specialised vocational training, but their qualifications often do not align with the specific technical trades or digital roles that employers are actively seeking. The third is LOW-SKILLED AND UNSKILLED UNEMPLOYMENT, which constitues a large portion of the unemployed workforce and has low levels of formal education, and are at a severe disadvantage in a modernising economy that increasingly requires advanced or technical capabilities. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to know that the low-skilled and un-skilled category of the unemployed is severely displaced by a labour market that is open to undocumented immigrants. I have elaborated on this matter in an article that I published on my social media platforms. To access that article, log in👇🏿 facebook.com/share/r/1BDetDE…

3/4 If all immigrants were to leave tomorrow, one of the biggest losers would be property owners. These guys pay substantial rent every month. The rental market would take a serious knock, along with many businesses that depend on immigrant spending.

4/4 I know a landlord whose tenants are 50% foreign. They pay roughly R100k a month in rent, money helps pay for rates& jobs done by South Africans. If all immigrants left tomorrow, some property owners would get a rude awakening. There would be serious gnashing of teeth

1/2 Dear @ZANUPF_Official varakashi @ProfJNMoyo @glenmpani @nickmangwana @KMutisi learn from @MYANC Strength isnt always about crushing opponents; it's about being confident enough to let them participate and still win. Smart politics beats clumsy politics every time

2/2 Education isnt measured by how u silence opponents, but by how skillfully you manage competition, build legitimacy & strengthen institutions while retaining power. True political intelligence is knowing when to fight, when to accommodate, and when to demonstrate confidence

If a tenant shows 3 months of consistent income & a permit, how am I expected to know it's fake? I neither have access to government databases nor investigative powers. The State cannot outsource immigration enforcement to landlords and then punish us for getting it wrong.
You might want to read section 42 of the immigration act. Ignorance is not a defence when you eventually get criminally charged for this.

Just go vote Herman Mashaba. He will just get lots of councillors and more money for his political party while you remain poor. Don t say I didn't warn you.
You can stand bold when u keep criminals in your yard. If someone is illegal that's a crime and it means you are pushing for it to continue

1/4 South Africa remains Africa's strongest constitutional democracy, with an independent judiciary, free elections, and a free press. The collapse of South Africa would have consequences far beyond its borders. Pray for its success, not its failure. So Help us God
FM @RonaldLamola, you blame concerns about violence and failed governance on "MAGA politics." Ghana and Nigeria just airlifted their citizens out of your country. Thousands of South Africans are fleeing to America to escape your government’s Left-wing policies. Unemployment still remains at 33% while you and corrupt government elites get rich while promoting race-based laws and chanting "Kill the Boer." If caring about your own citizens is MAGA, South Africa might want to give it a try.

3/4 MAGA-style politics is placing strain across the world. War in the Middle East threaten global energy security& disrupting oil shipments thru the Hormuz. If you cannot see the economic consequences of that, then you may not see anything.

4/4 Claims of "genocide" in South Africa are unsupported by any competent court or international tribunal. Political disagreements should be settled with facts and evidence, not inflammatory labels designed to score political points.

1/3 The idea that a mayor must spend his time chasing and arresting illegal immigrants is absurd in the extreme. That is the responsibility of @homeaffairsZA, with its specific budget, mandate and law-enforcement machinery. @HermanMashaba @nasiphim
On 19 May 2026, law enforcement in Johannesburg arrested an MTN Rank butchery manager for employing undocumented foreigners at his CBD shop, Gauteng. Nineteen foreign nationals were apprehended for violating the Immigration Act. The manager was detained for employing these individuals without proper documentation. Authorities are intensifying efforts to combat illegal activities.

2/3 A mayor’s primary duty is service delivery i.e fixing roads, ensuring clean water, improving safety, attracting investment and creating an enabling environment for businesses to invest, grow and create jobs.

3/3 When politicians turn municipalities into immigration task forces instead of functioning cities, it is usually because they have failed at the basics of governance.

I agree with @ProfJNMoyo on "the man is simply not presidential material& every passing day keeps proving it beyond doubt" Leadership statesmanship not confusion, chaos, endless embarrassment. What we are witnessing is not leadership; it’s a complete mess unfolding in public.
This man needs a medical evaluation, his fitness to hold office is questionable. 😳
