I have no doubt that the ratings have boomed. I don’t know why you would try to fix what is not broken, then again they changed the NCAA Basketball Tournament too. HOWEVER, Butch has a point with the usage of pitchers in a 3-game series vs playing 5 games in a weekend. This is the biggest/best argument you can make against the current NCAAT format. I am not a fan of change, but I’m willing to provide a platform for passionate individuals with incredibly illustrative thoughts on a new NCAA Tournament format that logically makes sense given the current academic calendar.
