World Wildlife Day: Investing in People and the Planet!
#WorldWildlifeDay. Investing in People and the Planet "Investing in People and the Planet" is the theme for World Wildlife Day. That’s why today (and everyday), we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the incredible wildlife species that inhabit Mesoamerica. In an interconnected world, our mission is to safeguard the ecosystems we share with them. How do we do it? With a dedicated team of professionals and partners, we implement conservation strategies to restore degraded habitats and strengthen local capacities. These include monitoring plants, birds (including migratory), reptiles, amphibians, marine species, and mammals in vast forests like the Maya Forest and La Moskitia, as well as in the Pacific and the Caribbean, among other efforts and locations (we could go on and on about everything we do!). Here are some images shared by our team, to celebrate World Wildlife Day, hoping you marvel -just as we do- at the biodiversity around us and become more aware of the actions we can take to improve this world we all share.
