It is with a sad heart we announce Lance Tennis, founding Director of Western Canal Water District passed over Thursday, February 29. He was a tireless AGvocate for agriculture, the Chico State Farm, and Northern California.
“Agriculture is still the number one industry in Butte County and contributes to our economy in the form of employment, labor income and value added,” he said. “About one in seven jobs in our area is attributed to agriculture.”
