Congrats @soilpED it was a great day great work up there on stage. Thanks to @SPAA_Inc and @BCG_Birchip and @theGRDC Grain Automate.
Another smashing delivery of the #GrainAutomate workshop this morning by Ed Scott @soilpED to a crowd of 120. We loved Ed’s footy analogy about building your dream team with layers - choose which layers to use and know the strengths of each layer!

A rare occasion to be finished harvest just before new year. Most happy predictions of drought didn't eventuate. Recent summer rain will refill soil to start next year's gamble.

A pleasure to present today at Liebe Spring Field Day. Discussed the great value of paraquat to manage weeds and resistance. A ban on the current safe use of paraquat would greatly damage grains growers and create unjustified Ag challenges. We can't afford to lose paraquat!

So, snails have become a bit of a drama here in recent years. It’s a work in progress, but this “mad rabbit” at 109 meters wide and 30km/h deals with them swiftly and effectively on a warm day. One man operation. 😎 credit to an exceptionally innovative neighbour for the concept!
