Arsenal LOSE the Champions League final! ❌ The Gunners have now played the most Champions League/European Cup games in history WITHOUT winning the competition... 😬

Absolutely no question about it... this would be a cricket score.
Theo Walcott: “How does your 2008 [#mufc] team compare to this Arsenal team?” Wayne Rooney: “Yeah we’d batter them!” [@primevideosport]

“Maybe the problem isn’t Tourette’s maybe the problem is people don’t know enough about Tourette’s” How relevant is that right now What a film

I keep hearing that Americans aren’t aware of Tourette’s. Not convinced. I remembered seeing an episode of LA Law about Tourette’s and I managed to find it. This is from 1991. So 25 years ago. Interestingly it uses the “n word” and the explains that the person can’t help it.

Biggest point of ‘I Swear’ inspired by John Davidson, that goes viral was this scene, for a reason. It's trying to normalize tourettes and explain to people that they can't control it. Forcing a person who has tourettes to apologize for every single thing is hell, shame on you.
Does Tourette’s make you unable to apologize tho?

The last 24 hours have taught me I am so much less offended by Tourette’s than I am by incredibly, painfully stupid people.

Actually super racist guy with tourettes, but he never tic-shouts the n-word because it doesn't seem inappropriate to him.

Black people being called the n-word by non-Black people will always be painful b/c that word carries a very heavy painful weight for us. But people should also understand that a person with Corprolalia specifically isn't making an intentional racial or gendered attack, either.
Replying to @CarrieCnh12
It might be hurtful if you dont understand Tourette's. If I had the honour of meeting this man, and he called me the most abhorrent thing you could possibly call someone, I would take it as a badge of honour for even being in the presence of this amazing man.

Apparently there are a lot of people around today who are under the impression that Tourette’s is something that can be controlled. I wonder if these are the same people who would tell someone with chronic depression to just 'cheer up'?

Tourette's making you shout really offensive things seems to have surprised people who have no idea what Tourette's actually is.

John's not mad. A seminal documentary on extreme Tourettes that thankfully shaped the conversation in this nation in the 80's To our pig ignorant American cousins and those ignoring a severe disability and its consequences, take 28 minutes to watch it. Then accept your fucking ignorant musings are so wrong it's frightening. youtu.be/wxfJDpd3XcY?si=dynp…

Tell me you know nothing about Tourettes without explicitly saying so 🤦
What happened at the BAFTAs was reprehensible. My heart goes out to Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo—they handled it with incredible grace. John Davidson can fuck off. I don’t care that he has Tourette’s syndrome. Most people with the disorder do NOT scream racist epithets.
