The support and love this community gives our program is simply amazing.
A huge “thank you” from the Wellington Lady Crusaders!
See you all Wednesday at 2:00 pm in Salina, Kansas.
Keeping up her tradition, I woke up this morning with my wife blaring the Hoosiers theme throughout the house.
It’s that time of year!
Good luck to all coaches and teams throughout the state.
Thank you Nate and Lacie Gregory for hosting our sub-state hamburger feed! Also, thank you Matt Barton for being on the grill!

Fake Toughness
*Cheap shots
*Talking trash
*Taunting
*Handshake line scuffles
Real Toughness
*Practicing hard every day
*Playing for your teammates instead of yourself (overcoming selfishness)
*Doing the dirty work
*Playing through aches and pains
*Cheering on your teammates when you’re on the bench
*Playing through fatigue
*Making winning plays
As a coach you have to be able to have standards your program keeps, regardless of the outcome
“I would rather lose than watch kids play the way some kids play.”
In the end the right things works far more often than the wrong things
