This is true. Don’t fall into the propaganda of the Taliban who latest act of mistreatment of women in Herat is no where in Shariah and Quran.
You are pathetic. Women protested in Herat because your Vice & Virtue men touched, pushed, humiliated, & arrested women despite them wearing full hijab. Your propaganda, coercion, and brainwashing especially of young girls will not cover up your vicious acts against women & girls.

A large number of Muslim sisters have gathered in Herat Province, Afghanistan, and are chanting slogans in support of the hijab. They say they are satisfied with the decisions of the Islamic Emirate regarding the hijab. So do not be deceived by the propaganda of the enemies.

The Pakistan continued attacks resulting and killing & injury of civilians including Children is outrageous & is war crime. Will the world ever care & investigate these?
The Pakistan strategy to attack Afghanistan and harm civilians each time an attack happens in Pakistan is a dangerous pattern that no one is paying attention to. The children and women continue to pay the high price as houses are bombed.

This must stop. The international community through diplomatic pressure and principled engagement with the Taliban de facto authorities, must demand reversal of all draconian laws in Afghanistan.
The Taliban continues to violate the human rights of women and girls through a new decree that entrenches child marriage in law - making an already dismal situation even worse for them. The decree addresses the circumstances in which women and girls can seek marriage separation. It strips them of their autonomy and gives males relatives control of their marital arrangements. It provides limited possibilities of challenging forced unions. It institutionalizes and normalizes child marriages. This must stop. The international community through diplomatic pressure and principled engagement with the Taliban de facto authorities, must demand reversal of all draconian laws in Afghanistan.

Name and shame!!!
Disappointing statement from the UK’s representative on Afghanistan. If you cannot name the Taliban’s violent attacks on women protesters, or acknowledge the bravery of Afghan women, or name and shame, then something is deeply wrong.

Peaceful protest and assembly is a human rights. #HeratProtest
Afghanistan: Media reports showing videos of the Taliban soldiers opening fire on demonstrators protesting the arbitrary arrests of women and the abusive enforcement of the Taliban’s dress code in Herat province are deeply alarming. The Taliban’s reported use of live fire against protesters is shocking escalation of their ongoing assault on the rights to peaceful protest, freedom of expression, and women’s rights in Afghanistan. Those protesting peacefully should never be met with bullets and violence. The Taliban must immediately end the use of unlawful force against peaceful protesters, release those arbitrarily detained, and respect the rights of women and girls, including their rights to freedom of movement, expression, and peaceful assembly.

Alarmed by excessive use of force against seemingly peaceful protesters in #Herat today; it’s time to defuse the tension, respect citizens’ freedom of expression, especially women and girls, and avoid further harm. Those responsible for violence must be held accountable.

Brave women of Herat & cowardice Taliban 👇
As women in Herat bravely chanted “Education, Work, Freedom,” the Taliban cowardly responded with gunfire. Their violent action shows how threatened they are by women’s voices & resistance. The world is watching & EU is planning red carpet for them in Belgium. What a shame!!

Dozens of men and women took to the streets of Herat City on Tuesday, protesting the recent detention of women by the Taliban. Women at the rally chanted: "Education, Work, Freedom." Witnesses said the Taliban responded to the protest with gunfire. Eyewitnesses said several demonstrators were wounded. The rally was held in the Jibrail area, northwest of Herat City. The Taliban have not commented on the incident so far.

Unfortunately advocacy & activism remain selective & ordinary citizens are mostly forgotten. Sad reality of Afghanistan advocacy!!!
Heartbreaking news about Afghan laborers who were burned alive. It doesn’t get much of media coverage & attention & reaction of millions of acclaimed human rights experts & activists. A sad reality of how advocacy for ordinary people from Afghanistan is not a priority for many!!
