This weeks team training was focussed on confined space. The scenario was a domestic block of flats following a gas explosion, so had to incorporate shoring the building both externally and internally as progress was made. @HantsIOW_fire

Yesterdays training was centred around the utilisation of our LOBO tower system. The task was to reach the 1st floor and then erect a way of removing a casualty supported. It was unconventional, but served its purpose. @HantsIOW_fire

π§ UK ISAR Water Purification Training
#UKISAR teams have completed the Water Purification Course in Quatford, Shropshire β funded by the @FCDOGovUK .
This training prepares responders to test, treat, store & deliver safe drinking water during international deployments.
Our purification units can also be left in disaster-affected areas to support local communities long after operations end.
Strengthening our humanitarian response & helping protect lives.

During Exercise Merlion 4, at Singapore Civil Defence Academy, #UKISAR met Amy and Catherine from the High Commission of the United Kingdom in Singapore and the FCDO post team.

3/3 finally, a @Paratech_Inc Bi-pod was erected to move the block up and over the obstacle. Load cells ensured that impacts on anchor systems was monitored continuously, and the load keep as low to ground as a safety precaution. @HantsIOW_fire
