This handsome deer was brought in with dogbite wounds. He was held in private captivity and was rescued from there. It is fulfiling to see him amble into the wild after a long recovery.

Enrichment is an important as it facilitates physical (motor and sensory), cognitive and social activity among the animals. This is just one step in a long journey and it will be many months (even over a year) before these macaques can be released as a troop.
