Haiti is out hustling Scotland and pushing them off the ball. Scotland is winning because of the talent difference, but Haiti is doing a lot better than I thought. #Haiti #Scotland #WorldCup

This may be the lamest attack yet. 🤣
Replying to @WVPitt
@WVPitt admits Dabney was a race realist and says there are better SPs than him. He at the same time considers race realist Dabney as one of the most important Southern Presbyterians. Why is he allowed to speak in such a manner of a racist given his ARP statement forbids that?

To best understand the World Cup, Brazil is basically Nebraska football.

An irony here of course is type of ethnic nationalism that is at the heart of Wolfeian et al Christian Nationalism is every bit of the same 20th Century aberration that Werry shows concern about. None of the "forefathers" would have considered skin color in their ethne.
I can appreciate, in that I understand it, the terror the denominational leaders are facing. They were propagandized from birth that the 20th century aberration is the norm. They are discovering the fairy tale was a lie. There is great opportunity here to equip their sons.

It's why they're pushing Antichristian Nationalists at their conferences. Plus, as a Southerner, no one disparages the kind of Yankee Nationalism they seek like the forefathers of the type of political philosophy I espouse which is downstream from John Taylor of Caroline, etc...

This is a good word. The purveyors of Kinism both don't understand the world they want, nor understand the world they want to draw away from, which leads to a retrograde and ignorant conclusion.
1/ want to speak to @PerfInjust in good faith. He’s always treated me cordially on the couple occasions I’ve met him, and I appreciate that. I think anti-kinism statements in particular are necessary, and I think Stephen doesn’t probably see that because he’s not from the South.

This is also why the modern Kinist movement has the visceral hate component of the Midwestern/Big Sky 1920s Klan movement.

Here is my annual review/report on the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Synod. I'm sure I left something out, it was a busy three days. TLDR: Synod was good, fun, and hard. Time will tell. See more at the link: open.substack.com/pub/benjam…

I'm putting this in the history book.
My neighbor who is an ARP pastor was gone to GA this week and gave me a brisket before he left. This is the kind of ecumenism I fight for.

Much appreciate the kind words. Looking forward to the research, the joy of discovery, and learning more about God's providence in the life of the ARP Synod. Tentative title is: "A Covenant Preserved: Faithfulness, Modernity, and the Reclamation of the ARP Synod, 1782–2026"
Thrilled to hear that my irl friend @WVPitt has been charged by his synod with writing the new history of the ARP. Ben is an excellent choice who will write a worthy book.

As the first order of business today I made the following motion, and it was approved by the 222nd General Synod. "In consideration of the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the 1926 Synod Committee that led to the production of the Bible Songs book that the Moderator form a special committee made up of three ministers, two elders, and two advisory members who love the Bible Songs and to present a report to the 2027 General Synod on the positive role of psalm singing in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church!" #ARPSynod2026

The 222nd General Synod of the ARP was blessed to receive a fraternal greeting from Elder Drew Gordon of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America. He gave a monogrammed ARP Psalter to our Moderator. #ARPSynod2026
