Eby may still be Premier for at least this week, but the decline of BC was a team effort by the BC NDP. #bcpoli

It was a busy session in Kamloops with @WardStamer and @HarmanBhanguBC I hope the govt is taking seriously peoples voices on a replacement for the Red Bridge that was lost to fire Sept 2024. Time to get on with rebuilding.

Sept 19, 2024 the Red Bridge in Kamloops burned down. In typical NDP fashion instead of a reopening ribbon cutting today, we got a public consultation to see what should replace a critical transportation link. This is impacting small businesses and commuters yet no urgency from the govt.

The BC Conservative Caucus is the most effective opposition in British Columbia history — no other opposition caucus has ever passed more private members’ bills. Since the party’s re-establishment, we’ve already delivered four bills into law. We didn’t wait to form government to start delivering results — and we’re just getting warmed up. Proud of my colleagues and the work we’re doing for British Columbians.

Oh, please, Bob. I know you want to get elected again, but this is just spreading blatant misinformation at this point. The NDP is the one slashing services. Hospital departments are shutting down across the province under the NDP’s watch due to mismanagement and failed priorities. The NDP has also brought our natural resources industry to its knees with endless red tape and DRIPA. NDP policies have driven investment away and crippled one of BC’s biggest economic drivers. A Conservative government under Kerry-Lynne Findlay will unleash BC’s natural resources economy. A strong, growing economy will deliver better services and real value for taxpayers.
Read between the lines. Reducing taxes (undoubtedly for the most wealthy) means lowering revenues which means cuts to essential programs, healthcare, education and reduced spending on capital projects. We saw this playbook 2001-2017. 16 very long years. Yes, we should find efficiencies. Yes, we should figure out how we can save money on capital projects. Yes, we should work hard to get back to balanced budgets. But don’t mistake increased wealth for a few for prosperity for the majority of hardworking people. The economy should work for everyone. As John Horgan always said, “if we put people at the centre of policy we will always make the best decisions” (paraphrased). Populous rhetoric may seem attractive, but it doesn’t solve real problems. Don’t fall for it.

Thanks for your support, Pierre
I am deeply honoured by the endorsement of my friend and colleague, Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre. British Columbia needs strong, principled leadership. For too long, the NDP has presided over the decay of our province: failing public services, crushing debt and deficits, out-of-control crime, and the erosion of property rights that threaten our families and freedoms. That era ends now. Together, we will restore safer communities, lower taxes, protect property rights, and deliver the prosperity our province deserves. Our best days in British Columbia lie ahead. Join me.

I have deep respect for the hard-working men and women of this province. You pay your taxes, build our communities, and keep our economy moving every single day. You deserve a government that honours that effort by spending your dollars carefully and wisely. Instead, the NDP has treated taxpayer money with recklessness, driving our debt to $183 billion in just four years. Leading with purpose means we will conduct the core reviews needed on our finances and the public service. Governments do not create wealth. They must prioritize responsible spending so families and businesses can succeed. That is why our momentum continues to build. The latest Leger poll shows British Columbians are responding to this message of respect and renewal. I am grateful for your support. It comes because you see a team that respects your hard work and has a clear plan to restore fiscal responsibility and real opportunity.

British Columbians deserve real relief, not more taxes slipped in through the back door. While the current government expands the Provincial Sales Tax to cover professional services like accounting, engineering, and real estate management, driving up costs for families and small businesses, I am proud of the results we delivered in Stephen Harper’s government. We lowered the federal GST from seven percent to five percent, putting meaningful money back into the pockets of hard-working Canadians and helping families across the country. This is the choice before us: higher taxes and bigger government, or lower taxes and greater freedom. My commitment remains clear. We will cut the cost of living, reduce red tape, and build an economy that works for every British Columbian.

For the first time since the election, the BC Conservatives hold a narrow lead over the declining NDP. Among decided voters, 45% say they would vote for the Conservative Party of BC if an election were held tomorrow compared with 41% for the BC NDP, a 7 point drop since the NDP's peak popularity last October, and a 7 point increase in the same time period with the Conservatives. 338canada.com/bc/20260602-le…

Isn't that the truth!
The only thing more mythical than the Ogopogo is …….. The NDP actually delivering a balanced budget, or even timeline to get to one.

“If Premier @Dave_Eby spent more time addressing the regulatory issues impacting #bcforestry than he did complaining about the #cdnpoli govt, we would not be in the position we are now,” said @WardStamer “And instead of trying to place the blame for mill closures on Donald Trump, Minister of Forests Ravi Parmar should take a look in the mirror. Permitting delays, rising costs, and shrinking fibre access have been growing threats to BC’s forest industry, but Minister Parmar has ignored them" acuriouslookatpoliticsinbc.b… @BCConservCaucus #Kamloops #NorthThompson
