I want to say a massive thank you to schools and teachers across the country for their handling of the heatwave this week.
The vast majority of schools stayed open so children could continue with their learning safely.

We’re helping recently arrived Afghan refugees get school places for their children, as they rebuild their lives.
We are also providing English lessons and specialist teachers for those who need extra support settling in.
