My last two cents on the Muschietti Brave and the Bold fiasco: They'll keep playing dumb and pretending he's still attached and still doing it until they either have a screenwriter or they have a script. Basically until they'll need to have a real director on the project.

I think the "it's the same character but BIGGER" shtick from the Absolute Batman line is getting old real fast and I think the Absolute Robin concept with them all pretty much being the same age as Bruce but still acting as if they're significantly younger is lame as well.
