Great CryptoMondays London (@CML_LDN) last night! Featuring Paul Howard from Wincent, Dumpling . from @BullishDumpling , Andrew Melville from Block Scholes, Ojasvi J. from @Cauldron_it and Andy Ross from @Kalshi The topic was prediction markets and the panel was very insightful about both the positives and negatives of them, but one thing remains clear: Prediction Markets have great demand! As always if you attended and we didn’t get a chance to talk feel feee to message me here discuss @Web3Automated

@merkl_xyz was not involved in this exploit, rather an account on the platform was compromised due to the faults of the @0xfluid team alone.

2 days into June, and 2 DeFi exploits have happened already! @TesseraDAO on the BNB Chain suffered a similar exploit to @Aave in April, where instead of $rsETH, 100 million $TSR tokens (worth $2-$3 million) were falsely minted and used as collateral to withdraw $USDT. Fluid lending (@0xfluid) lost over 100,000 $FLUID tokens and some $cbBTC (worth over $215,000) as their @Merkl_xyz rewards distribution system was compromised and rerouted into an attacker's wallet. Both communities have been shocked by these exploits and will want to know if their funds are safe and how the protocols plan to recover from and overcome this. Both teams will now have support gaps that allow even more exploits to happen, not due to technical issues, but due to a lack of scalable community customer support that comes from not using @Web3Automated

It seems @claudeai skipped elementary school, and jumped straight into coding! Many teams have build entire agentic systems using Claude Code alone, without having any oversight of their AI’s actual workflow. When even the best Claude AI can’t answer a question for a 5 year old, and gives responses like the one below, teams who overly rely on Claude Code will eventually see their products deteriorate.

Scammers don't only attack DeFi protocols. They attack the support gaps! Every time there's an exploit, a token crash, or a major event, thousands of panicked users flood Discord and Telegram looking for answers. This creates a support gap. A window of opportunity when the real support team is overwhelmed, and: Response times increase Mods can't keep up Scammers get what they are waiting for They enter the chaos with fake support links, wallet drainer sites, and impersonation accounts. Users who are already scared and confused click and end up losing their funds. I saw this pattern over and over, leading me to build @Web3Automated April alone saw over $600m stolen across DeFi. Every single one of those incidents created a support gap. Every single one of those gaps was an opportunity for bad actors. The teams that protect their users aren't necessarily the ones with the best security audits. They're the ones that never let the support gap open in the first place. 24/7 coverage isn't a nice-to-have in DeFi. It's the difference between your users getting help and your users getting drained. So protect your users 24/7 with web3automated.com

Most DeFi communities die after the first 12 months. Users come for rewards and leave due to a lack of consistent incentives that bring them back. A project that markets well and distributes good financial incentives inevitably loses users if they do not give users a reason to keep coming back. This is why intelligent support, moderation, and gamification are critical for long-term community survival and growth. A community that has these 3 elements will be able to survive any bear market or black swan event. Without them, you don't have a community, and instead, you have a temporary group of users testing your project. Don’t let your community become another distant memory. Build real engagement and loyalty with AI-powered support, moderation, and gamification. Join us today → web3automated.com
