The burden of CVD is significant and growing. With a National Modern Service Framework for CVD currently under development, we are calling for policy change on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care. Both the Chair Elect and Deputy Chair positions have been elected unopposed and we are delighted to welcome Carol Whelan as Chair Elect and Patricia Campbell as Deputy Chair.
