This whole government ID thing for social media, Will I need to do it as the only two I care about and use is Twitter and YouTube and both have my credit card details as I subscribe to both, I’m assuming I won’t therefore need a Gov ID as they said credit card was a form of proving age? Does anyone know yet or is it all just speculation?

Got two kids home from school now upset their youtube accounts going to be cancelled all videos and gaining subscribers ruined 😔 I completely agree with all the other sites some like this one and Snapchat I thought you had to be 18 anyway, but YouTube didn’t need to be on the ban. Hopefully cause it’s a kids YouTube which ain’t on the ban they can keep their accounts and videos🤞

Monday Monday and I had an absolute rubbish night sleep last night to make it worse! At least sun is out! Think a lot of focus again on Westminster this morning waiting for the ban for social media, lot of worried Uk YouTubers around I bet! Huge loss in income for a lot of channels! This is what’s killing social media for me. It’s an AI blue tick account, generated an AI “hot” lady doing something which isn’t anything special, all the comments are from other AI accounts or simps believing she’s real 😒and it’s just taking all the traffic away from actual real people with good tweets! I think I’m done with social media it’s all fake rubbish now
